Jackson Purchase Medical Center is a 16-year-old, $40 million facility with 107 beds. The hospital has an active Emergency Department with more than 27,000 visits a year. We have an eight-bed all private suite, labor / delivery center with nursery having 400 births a year; and an eight-bed CCU/ICU unit. The 38 member active medical staff are over 79% board certified with an average age of 44. The hospital's service area is 88,000, drawing patients from the eight counties of the primary and secondary service areas of Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
